R.I.P. President Ford

I just wanted to add my 2 cents on the passing of President Ford.

My avorite Ford Quote: "We declared our independence 200 years ago, and we are not about to lose it now to paper shufflers and computers," he said while discussing his views of regulatory agencies effect on the economy.

But perhaps his most famous act was the pardoning of Richard Nixon. This single act was the most selfless act I know of in an American President. If you research Ford, most agree that he knew that this pardon would cost him the upcoming election, but he did it anyway because he felt it was the right thing to do for the nation to begin to heal.

Hell, even the most hardened Dumbocrats, who used the pardon for political gain, later said it was the right thing to do. (Sound Familiar?) Think any of today's politicians would be that selfless today??

That act, although the right thing to do, is also one of the most disastrous. Since it gave Dumbocrats ammo against Ford, he lost, and we got jimmy f-ing carter.

Jimmah, is in the conversation as the worst acting President. But where he has exceeded all others, is his time after his Presidency. jimmy f-ing carter is by far the worst former President in the history of the free world. There is no one even on the radar screen as a second.

Enough of that.

Rest in peace Sir. You have earned it. We won't likely see a selfless person such as yourself on the national stage again. We could really use one, but alas, with 50+percent of the electorate being so feeble minded that they let the daily newscasts effect their sentiment, that will never happen.

That is all..
